RYAN STEVENS

1.How long have you been with MMCS?

I first performed with MMCS in 'The Sound of Music' as Rolfe in 2000. I then left and returned for 42nd Street in 2006 and have stayed ever since.

2.Your role in MMCS?

Fundraising and Website. With the help from committee (and especially Gemma), create events to bring in the cash and keep the productions of a high standard. Also maintaining this wonderful website takes up plenty of time...don't forget performing in our fantastic shows.

3.Favourite musical, and why?

That's so difficult...it all depends on what mood I'm in. There's Wicked (magical and showbiz), Chicago (sexy and sassy) and Les Miserables (emotional). If I had to say one, then Les Miz.

4.Which animal are you most like and why?

A puppy, energetic at times, cuddly, and likes to nap!

5.If you could invite 3 people to dinner (dead or alive), who would they be?

Charlie Chaplin (to ask about the early films), Gene Kelly (to talk about dancing.. and 'Singin' in the Rain', my all time favourtite film) and Jude Law...to look at!

6.X Factor or Strictly and why?

That's easy 'Strictly'. I love the dancing, glamour, makeup and costumes. It reminds me of the times when dancing was elegant and romantic. 'X-Factor' is a large Karaoke competition.

7.Favourite food?

My mums Shepard's Pie.  Large portions and filling, reminds me of home!

8.Favourite holiday destination?

Because I'm all cheese, Walt Disney World, Florida. I've worked in Disneyland Paris, helping the characters and dancing in the parades. I love Mickey and acting like a big kid!

9.Dream job?

That's very easy, West-end. Dancing, singing and acting on the stage. In any one of my favourite shows. I'd even sweep the stage at the end of the night!!!!

10. If you won the lottery, how would you spend the winnings?

Once all the bills are paid off, holiday with family and friends (Gemma, Sadie and Daren). New car, house, Piano, and invest in a theatre and theatre projects/companies. I'd still stay with MMCS. They're great people and produce a fantastic programme every year!
