Maidenhead Musical Comedy Society (MMCS),

was formed on 15th November 1966 by Betty and Roy Gaunt and Eric Wimpenny. The first show was presented in the Desborough Suite, Maidenhead in 1967. Over the years we have performed a whole host of amateur musical productions including South Pacific, Chicago, Cabaret, Calamity Jane, 42nd Street, Anything Goes, Crazy For You ... the list goes on!
We perform two musicals a year at the
Desborough Suite, (usually October and April) and through the reputation which the society has, attract a vast audience and support.

We rehearse on Tuesdays (St. Nicolas School, Taplow) and Wednesdays (Taplow Village Hall).

Closer to show week we usually rehearse on Sundays.

If you are interested in joining us, either onstage or backstage then please contact us through the 'CONTACT US' page.

We are proud to be affiliated with NODA
(National Operatic and Dramatic Association)
